Dr Omar Hashmi

Cornerstone GP Services was founded by Dr. Omar Hashmi, a highly experienced private GP in London with a passion for delivering personalised, high-quality care.

His focus is simple: to listen carefully, explain clearly and provide care that you can trust.

Dr. Hashmi brings a wealth of experience from across UK primary care, including senior and executive leadership roles in General Practice, Urgent Care, and Forensic Medicine. His approach to healthcare is built on compassion, clinical excellence, and dedication to every patient.

He qualified from Imperial College London in 2008 with a degree in Medicine and an intercalated BSc in Medical Sciences. He is a proud Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).

In addition to clinical work, Dr. Hashmi holds the Diploma in Legal Medicine from the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine, and postgraduate certifications in pre-hospital emergency care, medical education and healthcare leadership, the latter awarded with distinction.

Through Cornerstone GP Services, based in Central and East London, Dr. Hashmi is creating a better model of private GP care—where patients receive the time, attention, and access they truly deserve.

Dr Syira Ahsan

Dr Syira Ahsan is an experienced doctor with over 25 years of medical experience and 17 years as a GP. She has worked across a wide range of areas of practice and believes that healthcare should never take a one-size-fits-all approach.

With particular interests in women’s health, children’s health and medico-legal work. Dr Ahsan takes a holistic and personalised approach to caring for patients and their families. She can support you through a wide range of health and wellbeing concerns, helping you navigate changes at every stage of life.

Alongside her specialist interests, Dr Ahsan is experienced in managing the everyday illnesses and concerns you would expect to discuss with your GP. Her consultations combine practical medical advice with a holistic focus on lifestyle and wellbeing, providing tailored healthcare designed around you.

Dr Ahsan is passionate about helping her patients become the best version of themselves through thoughtful, personalised and holistic healthcare.
