Meet Dr. Omar Hashmi – Founder of Cornerstone GP Services
Cornerstone GP Services was founded by Dr. Omar Hashmi, a highly experienced private GP in London with a passion for delivering personalised, high-quality care.
Dr. Hashmi brings a wealth of experience from across UK primary care, including senior and executive leadership roles in General Practice, Urgent Care, and Forensic Medicine. His approach to healthcare is built on compassion, clinical excellence, and dedication to every patient.
He qualified from Imperial College London in 2008 with a degree in Medicine and an intercalated BSc in Medical Sciences. He is a proud Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) and an Affiliate of the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine (FFLM).
In addition to clinical work, Dr. Hashmi holds a Diploma in Legal Medicine, and postgraduate certifications in Medical Education and Healthcare Leadership, awarded with distinction.
Through Cornerstone GP Services, based in Central and East London, Dr. Hashmi is creating a better model of private GP care—where patients receive the time, attention, and access they truly deserve.
